Fire Laps, the AI-powered Driver Development Platform, today announced a partnership with Rush Auto Works to bring live telemetry, AI-driven coaching, and broadcast-integrated data to the Rush SR platform. The collaboration will debut with the 2026 GridLife RUSH National Championship.
The partnership includes a Rush SR-specific mounting bracket and plug-and-play wiring harness developed by Fire Laps, along with an exclusive offer for early adopters. The first 50 Rush SR owners to purchase a Fire Link device will receive two years of Fire Laps’ Intelligent Lap Coach subscription, along with a $499 credit toward a Fire Link Pro upgrade.

Beginning in 2026, Rush SR technical regulations will be updated to allow Fire Link, Fire Laps’ onboard GPS datalogger and live telemetry device, as an approved accessory. The system streams real-time position, speed, and gap data via LTE, enabling both driver insight and live broadcast integration. Fire Link remains an optional upgrade for drivers.
“Most data systems were built to collect information, not to help drivers improve,” said David Calzada, Co-Founder of Fire Laps. “This partnership represents a shift from data collection tools to true driver development systems. Fire Laps turns raw telemetry into clear, actionable coaching so drivers can actually get faster, not just review laps.”
Rush Auto Works sees the partnership as an extension of its mission to make high-performance racing more accessible.
“We built the Rush SR so that a club racer could show up with GT4-level performance for a third of the cost,” said Samuel Reed, President of Rush Auto Works. “Fire Laps does the same thing for data and coaching. It brings professional-grade insight to every driver on the grid, without the traditional cost or complexity.”
Each Fire Link-equipped vehicle will also feed live telemetry into the GridLife Live broadcast, providing real-time data overlays including speed, position, and interval gaps. The integration builds on Fire Laps’ 2025 GridLife GT deployment and expands the system to a full Rush SR grid expected to exceed 30 entries.

The Fire Link device features a 6061 billet aluminum enclosure, 10Hz GPS, and integrated LTE connectivity. Designed to work alongside existing systems such as AiM loggers, it automatically uploads session data and delivers post-session analysis through Fire Laps’ Intelligent Lap Coach, highlighting opportunities across braking, cornering, and acceleration.
For Rush SR drivers, the result is a more connected performance ecosystem, linking car, driver, and data into a single workflow designed around improvement rather than interpretation.
